Dr. P.K. Babu had M.Sc., M.Phil. and PhD in Demography from University of Kerala. He had worked as teaching faculty in statistics and demography in various Government Medical Colleges of Kerala. He had 8 years teaching experience as lecturer, 5 years experience as Assistant Professor and 23 years teaching experience as Associate Professor in Statistics and Demography. During his tenure he had performed statistical design and analysis for more than 1000 research works of faculty and post graduate students in Medical/Nursing/Pharmacy/MLT disciplines. He had several publications in national and international journals. He had also completed three State Board of Medical Research funded studies as principal investigator or co-investigator. He had also successfully completed certificate programme in Healthy ageing and geriatric care, Counselling, Palliative care from centre for Gerontological studies, Kerala University of Health Sciences.
